This work (below) is to be done on Wed. in class as I will be away till after the break. You may use any books you need to but try to stick to the exam time. If you need to take it home to finish that's OK but hand it in on Fri.at the latest.

Choose one of these essay titles and write about "...the Cuckoo's Nest and one other work you have studied.

Show how the opening lines or first chapter of a literary work often anticipate or foreshadow what is to come.

Human beings need heroes to admire and be inspired by. Discuss this assertion with reference to the literary texts you have studied.

Spanish IB 1st. year

Write a film review of "El Laberinto del Fauno" on Fri. 24th. during class. You will need special vocabulary for a film review. Check out the internet for some authentic examples. Do not copy whole sentences or big chunks!
