In the section beginning on page 182 and ending on page 187 of “One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest” how does the author build tension. Examine this extract closely and comment on the techniques used by the author. Are they successful and, if so, why?

Ab initio 2nd. year
Be prepared to present oral based on picture. Learn vocabulary from texts A and B of IB paper 1 which you have just done.
Spanish IB 1st. year
Do ex.A. and B. on p.14 of "Sigue".
Spanish 2A
Do exercise 1 on p.112 of "Captado" and worksheet 16 using object pronouns.
Spanish 2B
Do exercise 1 on p.112 of "Captado" and worksheet 16 using object pronouns.
Those students who have still to do their oral presentations should be fully prepared for next class.
Michael and Sara T. have still to hand in a letter to a new friend telling all about yourselves. It should be no less than 120 words.
